This Privacy Policy explains how AppBox ("the App") handles your data. We are committed to transparency about what data is collected, how it is used, and who it may be shared with.

1. Overview of the App

AppBox is an iOS application that allows you to save, organise, and analyse apps from the Apple App Store. The app imports publicly available metadata about apps you choose to save, stores this data locally on your device, and optionally syncs it to your personal iCloud account.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 App Metadata

When you import an app into AppBox, we collect and store publicly available App Store metadata:

2.2 User-Created Data

AppBox stores data that you create within the app:

2.3 History Tracking

When you refresh apps, AppBox may track historical changes:

• Price History: Changes in app pricing over time
• Rating History: Changes in app ratings over time
• Version History: App updates and release notes
• Availability: Whether an app is still available on the App Store

3. Data Storage and Sync

3.1 Local Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data remains on your device unless you enable iCloud sync.

3.2 iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled for AppBox, your data syncs automatically between your devices using Apple CloudKit:

• Data is stored in your personal iCloud account
• Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
• TouchTap Ltd does not have access to your iCloud data
• You can disable iCloud sync in iOS Settings

4. Data Export

You can export your collections in CSV or JSON formats. Exported data includes:

• App metadata (publicly available information)
• Your organisational data (collections, tags, custom fields)
• No personal information is included in exports

AppBox does not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Contacts or calendar data
• Photos or media files
• Health or fitness data
• Financial information
• Browsing history
• Information about apps installed on your device

7. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to provide the functionality of the app:

• Display: Show your saved apps and collections
• Analysis: Generate insights about the apps you've saved
• Sync: Keep data consistent across your devices via iCloud
• Export: Allow you to export your data

We do not use your data for:

• Advertising or marketing purposes (except displaying non-personalised ads in the free version)
• Selling or renting to third parties
• Profiling or behavioural analysis
• Training machine learning models

8. Data Retention

• Local Data: Retained until you delete apps from your collections or uninstall the app
• iCloud Data: Retained in your iCloud account until you delete it or disable sync
• No Server-Side Retention: TouchTap Ltd does not retain any user data on our servers

9. Your Rights and Choices

9.1 Data Access and Deletion

• View Your Data: All data is viewable within the app
• Delete Data: Delete individual apps, collections, or all data through the app
• Delete All Data: Uninstalling the app removes all local data
• iCloud Data: Manage iCloud data through iOS Settings or iCloud.com

9.2 Opt-Out Options

• iCloud Sync: Disable in iOS Settings to keep data only on your device
• Advertising: Purchase Pro to remove all advertisements

10. Children's Privacy

AppBox does not target children and does not knowingly collect any personal information from users of any age. The app only handles publicly available App Store metadata.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
